How long have you been in business?
We have been in the same location in uptown Charlotte NC since 1987.
What is your primary product or service?
Flowers Plus is Charlotte's premier full service florist specializing in beautiful floral designs for all occasions. We offer free wedding and special event consultations and weekly standing orders for home or office. We also have lovely plants, custom made gift baskets and balloons and balloon work(arches, columns and drops).
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been working with flowers since the age of 8 years old when I helped my grandmother prepare church flowers. Since then my love for flowers has grown and grown as I worked with several different florists in the CHarlotte area throughout my adult life. I was offered the opportunity to purchase Flowers Plus from one of my previous employers a few years back and I jumped at the opportunity. It has been a dream come true have my own florist these past few years!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We feel that we have some of the BEST floral designers in the Charlotte area as well as sincere care and attention to our very valued customers. We love flowers and it shows!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location at the present time which is located at 301 S. Tryon St in Uptown Charlotte in the 2 Wells Fargo Building.

What type of payments do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex and cash or check
Which areas do you service?
The entire Charlotte NC area and the Charlotte metro area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Joel Houston - President and Johnny Fann - Vice President. Joel and Johnny are the owners.
What are your hours of operation?
8 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday. Weekends we are available by appointment and are usually working weddings and/or special events.
