How long have you been in business?
American Limousine's owner, Bill Payne, has been in the limousine and special events business since early 1999. Bill established his own company with Charlotte's first Limo-Coach/Party Bus in 2001 and incorporated as a South Carolina chartered limousine service under the name American Limousine, LLC in February 2002.
What is your primary product or service?
American Limousine, LLC is a 24-7 full-service limousine company. American Limousine has been hosting the Original Yadkin Valley Wine Tour since 2002. American Limousine's 2nd most popular service is their airport sedan service. As a full service sedan and limousine service, we have always offered our clients special occasion transportation, including wedding transfers, birthdays & anniversaries, bachelor & bachelorette parties. Additionally, we've covered our clients' needs for college and professional sports, ACC & SEC football & basketball, NASCAR races, golf outings to Pinehurst, PGA events like the Wells Fargo & The Masters events.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Prior business was being negatively impacted by out sourcing and a shrinking market demand. Started driving for a black car service and a limousine company in order to supplement income. Discovered the job was fulfilling and required good decision making skills and superior customer service. As a lifelong entrepreneur, after working the Presidential Inauguration in 2001, it made sense to set up my own company. Bill Payne is an ex SCCA Showroom Stock road racer who competed in over 60 amateur and professional races at over 30 different race tracks from Lime Rock, CT to Texas World Speedway in College Station, TX. I participated as a high performance driving school instructor, was accredited and worked as a Defensive Driving instructor.

We provide exemplary service & assistance in planning every event.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
American Limousine services the Metrolina region of NC and Piedmont SC from offices in York County, SC. Our expansion plans include adding more exotic vehicles for our wedding clients.

Cash, Company checks, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, & Discover.
Which areas do you service?
We service a 75 mile radius of Charlotte, all FBOs within 1.5 hours.

What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
To recommend us to others & favor us with additional business. The neatest part of this business is to get a call from a customer whom we assisted several months or even years earlier. Recently we picked up a former client's friend at the airport, the client had been out of the country for over 3 years.
