How long have you been in business?
LeaseSource began business in 1993. In 2011, we will celebrate our 18th year providing financing, leasing and cash flow solutions for expanding companies and those that wish to upgrade and replace older equipment.
What is your primary product or service?
LeaseSource provides lease money and financing alternatives for businesses of all sizes and types.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
When I was an owner of a manufacturing, sales and service company, we needed to find additional funds to finance our growth and replace equipment. Someone told me to contact a leasing company. I did and we leased all of our equipment. Rule of thumb: If it depreciates, lease it. If it appreciates, buy it. So, when I sold out of that company I began helping other companies find money. The hardest thing to do for a businessperson is to get the money they need when they need it. Sure, your local bank is great, but you want to conserve that available line. So, lease or finance through LeaseSource all your equipment, computers, software, racking, forklifts, trucks . . . you name it. We lease / finance everything "And" the kitchen sink. By following this simple prescription, you will create a healthy cash flow in your business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
LeaseSource is proud of the fact that we work with dozens of underwriters nationwide. That way, as one underwriter (bank or funding source) changes who they will loan to or what they will lend money for, we can easily move to another funder to create a solution for you. We are creative and do not like the word "declined." We like, "Approved," and I know you do too. So, if there is a way, we'll find a way.
